COASTLINE FIX

Mobile Golf Cart and LSV Repair in North County San Diego

I fix golf carts and low speed vehicles where they live. Most carts in North County never see a shop, because hauling one on a trailer costs more than the repair. I bring the tools, the meter, and the common parts to your driveway, your community garage, or your property, and I tell you what the cart actually needs before I touch anything.

What I work on

Club Car, E-Z-GO, and Yamaha carts, plus the newer street legal LSV brands showing up all over coastal North County: ICON, Evolution, Advanced EV, Denago, Star EV, and Tomberlin. Lead acid packs, AGM packs, and lithium packs.

If your cart is a rebuilt or unbranded import, I still service it. Parts sourcing takes longer and I will say so up front instead of guessing at a delivery date.

Battery packs are the whole ballgame

On a golf cart the pack is the single most expensive component and the single most common reason a cart gets parked. A tired pack looks exactly like a dead cart: it moves fine for ten minutes, then crawls up the first hill.

I load test the pack, check each battery under load, inspect cables and terminals, and test the charger. Then you get a number: what the pack has left and what a replacement costs. A pack that is swollen, leaking, heat damaged, or physically damaged comes out of service and goes to the manufacturer or a certified recycler. I never open, puncture, or disassemble a pack, and neither should you.

Pricing

Repairs start at $99 per visit, which covers one or more golf carts at the same address. If we come out and you decline the work, there is a $25 mobile fee. For scheduled repair visits, there is no separate trip charge. A full diagnostic with a written health report is $99. A full tune-up is $189.

Inspections come in two tiers. A basic pre-purchase check is $99: I look the cart over, load test the pack, and tell you on the spot whether to walk away. A full inspection is $179 and includes a written report you can hand to the seller and negotiate with.

Parts are quoted before I order them. Nothing gets installed on a maybe.

Frequently asked questions

Do you come to me for golf cart repair?

Yes. Coastline Fix is fully mobile. I work in your driveway, your garage, your community cart barn, or on your property anywhere in North County San Diego. A cart only gets transported when a repair genuinely cannot be finished on site.

What does mobile golf cart repair cost?

Golf cart repairs start at $99 per visit, which covers one or more carts at the same address. If I come out and you decline the work, there is a $25 mobile fee. A full diagnostic with a written report is $99, a full tune-up is $189, brake service starts at $145, and motor, solenoid, or controller work starts at $165. Inspections are $99 for a basic check or $179 for a full written report. Parts are quoted before I order them.

Which golf cart brands do you service?

Club Car, E-Z-GO, and Yamaha, plus the street legal LSV brands: ICON, Evolution, Advanced EV, Denago, Star EV, and Tomberlin. I also service rebuilt and unbranded carts, though parts sourcing takes longer.

How do I know if my golf cart needs a new battery pack?

The usual sign is range that collapses under load: the cart feels normal for a few minutes, then slows badly on hills or with passengers. I load test the pack and each battery, check cables and terminals, and test the charger, then tell you what the pack has left and what a replacement costs.

Do you work on lithium conversions?

Yes, on service and diagnosis for factory lithium carts and existing conversions. I test packs, chargers, and wiring, and I refer any damaged or faulty pack to the manufacturer or a certified facility. I never open a pack.

Can you tell me what my golf cart is worth?

Yes. Use the free Coastline Cart Values estimator for a range based on brand, year, hours, battery condition, and overall condition. If you want it verified in person, a basic check is $99 and a full inspection with a written report you can negotiate with is $179.

Tell me the brand, the year if you know it, and what the cart is doing. I will tell you what it needs and what it costs before I come out. Call (858) 683-6900. For eBikes, see mobile eBike services.
