A cart that will not move is almost never a mystery. It is a pack, a solenoid, a controller, a motor, or a switch in the safety circuit, and a meter finds it in under an hour. I do that at your house for $99 and tell you the repair cost before I start.

Silence when you press the pedal usually points at the safety circuit or the solenoid: key switch, forward and reverse switch, pedal micro switch, tow or run switch left in the wrong position, or a solenoid that is not clicking.
A single loud click with no movement usually means the solenoid is closing but the motor or controller is not doing its job. A cart that moves but crawls, cuts out under load, or dies on hills is almost always a tired battery pack or a bad cable connection.
I start at the pack and work forward: pack voltage under load, cable and terminal condition, then the safety circuit switch by switch, then the solenoid, then the controller and motor.
You get the fault, the fix, and the price in the same conversation. If a part has to be ordered, I quote it before it is ordered and come back to install it.
A single click usually means the solenoid is closing but power is not reaching the wheels, which points at the controller, the motor, or a main cable connection. A rapid clicking with no movement usually means the pack voltage is collapsing under load.
Nearly always a battery pack that cannot hold voltage under load, or corroded cable ends adding resistance. It can also be a controller cutting back after it overheats. Load testing tells the difference.
The diagnostic is $99 and includes a written report on the same visit. Motor, solenoid, and controller work starts at $165 with parts quoted before I order them.
Most of the time, yes. Solenoids, switches, cables, and common controllers are the usual failures and I carry the parts that fail most often. A specialty motor or controller gets ordered and installed on a return visit.
Tell me what the cart does when you press the pedal, silence, one click, or rapid clicking. That one detail narrows it down before I arrive. Call (858) 683-6900.
