COASTLINE FIX

Mobile Evolution Golf Cart and LSV Repair in North County San Diego

Evolution carts show up all over coastal North County, usually lithium equipped and often registered for street use. They are well equipped for the money, and the service pattern reflects a newer lithium platform driven on real roads.

Models serviced: D5 Maverick, D5 Ranger, Forester, and Classic 4 Plus.

What these carts need

Because most Evolution carts are lithium and street driven, the work concentrates on the charging system, the controller and drive electronics, hydraulic brakes, and suspension and tire wear from road miles rather than on dying lead acid packs.

The other recurring category is accessory and 12 volt wiring. These carts come with screens, sound, lighting, and cameras, and those circuits are where intermittent faults tend to live.

Lithium safety

I test packs, chargers, and wiring, and read state of health where the system reports it. A pack that is swollen, damaged, or faulty is referred to the manufacturer or a certified facility.

I never open, puncture, or modify a lithium pack of any brand, and neither should any owner. A lithium charger also has to match the pack, so a replacement charger is specified rather than substituted.

Parts and turnaround

Evolution is a newer brand, so model specific electronics and body parts can take longer to source than the legacy brands. Wear items like brakes, tires, and bushings are readily available.

I quote parts before ordering and give you a realistic timeline rather than an optimistic one.

Evolution repair questions

Do you repair Evolution golf carts at my home?

Yes. Coastline Fix is fully mobile and services D5 Maverick, D5 Ranger, Forester, and Classic models at your home or property anywhere in North County San Diego.

Can you diagnose the lithium system in an Evolution cart?

Yes. I test the pack, the charger, and the wiring, and read state of health where the system reports it. Damaged or faulty packs are referred to the manufacturer or a certified facility, because I never open a pack.

Why do the accessories in my Evolution cart cut out intermittently?

Intermittent faults on these carts usually live in the 12 volt accessory circuits that feed the screen, sound, lighting, and cameras. I trace grounds, fuses, and connectors rather than replacing the accessory and hoping.

How much does Evolution cart repair cost?

Golf cart repairs start at $99 per visit, which covers one or more carts at the same address. If I come out and you decline the work, there is a $25 mobile fee. A diagnostic with a written report is $99, brake service starts at $145, motor or controller work starts at $165, and a full tune-up is $189. Parts are quoted before I order them.

Are you an Evolution dealer?

No. Coastline Fix is an independent mobile repair service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Evolution. Factory warranty work belongs with the selling dealer, and I handle out of warranty and mobile service.
