Bike Check Day for Schools & PTAs

Bring the School-Ready eBike Safety Inspection to campus for PTA boards, PE departments, principals, and after-school programs.

How does Bike Check Day work?

An insured Coastline Fix mechanic sets up near the school bike racks for a 2 to 3 hour window. Each School-Ready eBike Safety Inspection takes about 10 to 15 minutes per bike.

Choose a Bike Check Day payment path

Parent-paid

$49 per bike at your school's Bike Check Day. Parents pre-book and pay online. 20-bike minimum.

Sponsored

$40 per bike. A PTA, school, or local sponsor pays. Parents pay nothing. 20-bike minimum.

Repairs found are quoted separately on the spot and are never included in either price.

What maintenance talk is included?

A 10-minute maintenance talk for PE classes is included at no extra charge. It covers weekly checks, safer battery charging habits, and signs that brakes need attention. It is the only talk we offer, and it is not the rules-of-the-road course.

What does the school provide?

Space near the racks, a date, and distribution of the parent notice Coastline Fix drafts.

What does Coastline Fix bring?

Certificate of insurance on request, Live Scan clearance, tools, and parts for common fixes.

What problems do school bike checks find most often?

Worn brake pads, underinflated tires, damaged charger connectors, low seats, and bikes exceeding class limits.
