Where we rescue riders in Oceanside
The Strand is where most of it happens. Sand, salt air, and shared bike traffic are hard on eBikes, and a bike that lived outside all summer near the pier will eventually give you a seized caliper or a charge port that stopped taking a charge. We work those calls right there in the beach lots.
The pier and the harbor draw riders who go further than they planned. Range anxiety turns into an actual dead pack somewhere around the jetty, and then it is a two mile push back to the car with a 70 pound bike. Call before you start pushing. We check pack voltage, connectors, and the inline fuse on the spot, and plenty of those bikes ride home under power.
The San Luis Rey River Trail is our inland rescue corridor. It runs a long way east with limited road access, which makes a flat or a snapped chain a genuine problem. Fat tire Super73 and Aventon wheels are common out there and neither is fun to pull on gravel without the right wrench and a torque spec. Tell us the nearest trail access point and we meet you at it.
Coast Highway through town produces the brake calls. Stop and go traffic from the harbor down to the Carlsbad line wears pads faster than riders expect, especially on Rad Power cargo bikes hauling weight. A lever that pulls to the bar is a stop riding situation, and we would rather come to you than read about it later.
Standard dispatch pricing applies in Oceanside at $49 flat, credited toward the repair. Rescue pickup and transport is $75 and covers the whole city, since every Oceanside address sits inside our 10 mile radius from Carlsbad 92009.

Do you charge extra to come to Oceanside?
No extra travel fee. Standard dispatch is $49 flat and it is credited toward your repair total, the same as everywhere else in our core service area.
Can you reach me on the San Luis Rey River Trail?
Yes. Give us the nearest trail access point or cross street and we meet you there with tubes, chain, and tools. That trail is one of our regular rescue corridors.
My battery died near the pier. Can you fix it there?
Often yes. Loose latches, corroded connectors, sanded up charge ports, and blown inline fuses are all roadside repairs. If the pack itself has failed, we transport the bike for $75.
